It’s finally here! Casting rounds! For those of you guys who are new to this. The contestants perform again in their groups or solo and get casted into one of the three agencies or get eliminated. Each company gets 6 people to bring in.

Team Survival Mission time!

It’s been a long time since I’ve reported on K-Pop Star 5, but I’m back! In order to not make it super long, I’m just going to briefly, very briefly (not that I give long explanations to things anyways, lol) let you guys now what is happening so far.
Episodes 5-7 consists of more ranking auditions and a group showcase. Shall we get started?
Uggggghhhh! All I want to do is share the clips of the performances, but does SBS and K-Pop Star want to help with that. No! Wae must you make it so hard for fans like me and billions of other K-Pop Star fans around the world?
Okay, I’m done ranting.
Episodes 3 and 4 were pretty good. It’s ranking audition time as the judges take the 71 contestants, who survived round 1, and narrow down the number. For those of you guys who aren’t familiar with the ranking auditions. The contestants are grouped together by some kind of trait for example, unique voices, emotional voices, age, etc. From there, the judges will listen to their song and rank them. All of them can make it through or some may be eliminated. In my opinion, this is the hardest round to pass because you have to show some kind of improvement. Read More

Omg! It’s finally here, K-pop Star 5. You guys don’t even know how much I’ve been waiting for this season to start. I’m super excited to see what hidden treasures the show will dig up for the rest of the world to enjoy.

Ah, Chuseok, definitely one of my favorite times of the year for k-pop. Especially, for variety shows. Last year (or was it earlier this year), KBS brought back Star Golden Bell. This Chuseok, KBS parodied one of its most loved show, National Singing Contest.
Idols auditioned and performed songs that entertained a panel of judges for some typical Chuseok prizes. I gotta say, this has to be one of my favorite Chuseok specials I’ve seen. I mean, look at this gif!
