This year, the younger contestants are giving the older contestants a run for their money. Literally. JYP wondered how much value was on the stage when all the younger contestants were on there together.

I think one of my favorite things ever about K-Pop Star is when the judges try to appeal to a contestant and then they end up bickering with each other. Its usually JYP and YG at first, but then Yoo Hee Yeol makes a witty attempt to try and recruit a person as well. Its hilarious.

Lee Soo Min

This girl has groove. I enjoyed her performance. You know what, to those people who say that she doesn’t smile (*ahem* YG), leave her alone. She’ll express herself whenever and whatever she wants. It’s true that she needs to smile to sing happy songs but she doesn’t have to be smiling all the time. I thought her expressions for this performance and her dance performance were on point.

Chrisha Chu

Awwww this girl makes me smile. I love her attitude about wanting to sing Korean songs. I can’t wait to see more of her. Girl, if YG tries to recruit you say no because only god knows how long it’ll take for you to debut. I mean where’s Katie Kim. And Jung Hana. You might be in that basement forever and we’ll never see you.

Kim Jong Seob

Honey, I  hope you didn’t REALLY look into the lyrics of “Take me Down” because you are still 11 and if dance, lyrics, and emotions are all tied together….I don’t even want to know. But it didn’t get weird, no worries. And his rap was so cool. I wish I had his rap skills.

Lee Ga Do

The reason why many kid contestants on K-Pop Star don’t make it is because they lack the strength in their voice. But this girl just belts each note every single time. She has so much power in her voice.

Park Hyun Jin

Wow. This kid. Man. I don’t even know what to say. He’s good at singing, dancing, and rapping. Triple threat right there. I wish they would have let him rap a little just so we (the audience) can have a taste of it. I’m super excited for this kid.
